Asteroid 2006 BQ6Asteroid 2006 BQ6 was discovered on January 22, 2006 by the Mt. Lemmon Survey of the University of Arizona. On July 29, 2006, it passed 0.037 Astronomical Units from the Earth. The simulation 2006BQ6.gsim begins 9 days before closest aproach. Watch as this potentially hazardous asteroid passes only 14 lunar distances from Earth. Starting conditions were obtained using JPL Horizons Ephemeris Computation Service.
